A regular exercise programme, involving physical and mental effort, will also help relieve the many tensions and frustrations that are experienced everyday.

Beaufort Fitness Centre provides you with the opportunity of improving your fitness levels or with helping you get back into condition.

The Fitness Centre (CV area and weights room)

The Fitness Centre is fully equipped with a range of cardiovascular and resistance (weights) equipment. Our cardiovascular equipment includes bikes, cross trainers, treadmills and Concept II rowers. The resistance equipment includes a range of stations and free weights, sufficient to cover all of the major muscle groups in the body.

Fitness Suite Induction

To use the Fitness Suite you will be required to take part in an assessment. Our qualified and experienced staff carry this out They will ensure you are happy with using all of the equipment, and that you have an exercise programme tailored to meet your individual needs.

Fitness Classes

A full range of classes are offered, to suit all abilities. The classes are designed to complement your regular exercise regime. Just by incorporating a couple of classes a week into your training schedule, you are sure to see improvements in your fitness, self-confidence and appearance.

Health & Fitness Centre

The Health and Fitness Centre is made up of three distinct areas.

CV area with CV machines such as treadmills, Concept 11 rowers, steppers.

The weights area consists of various resistance weight equipment and free weights.

These areas are open to authorised users every evening

  • Monday - Friday | 6.00pm - 10.00pm 
  • Saturdays | 9.00am - 4.00pm 
  • Sundays | 9.00am - 8.00pm

Finally the exercise studio is a self contained exercise area for classes including Zumba and Pilates

Gym + swim ticket - £4.90

Monthly Gym only ticket - £21.00

Pilates Stretch & Tone

Combining Pilates exercises with yoga stretches.

Strengthening conditioning leg exercises from a brand new workout called Will Power & Grace, this class will help to-

  • Flatten, tone & strengthen your core,
  • Sculpt, shape,& condition legs & buttocks,
  • Improve Flexibility & joint mobility.
