The Sixth Form is organised into Tutor Groups, each group containing between 15-20 students. Tutors are responsible for monitoring the academic performance, attendance and punctuality of their tutees.

They are able to offer guidance and support to their students across their time in the Sixth Form. They write both university and employment references.

Sixth Form students are encouraged to continue to contribute to their Houses.  There is an emphasis on them taking responsibility for organising House Competitions for younger students.

New name and uniform for Beaufort Academy

As you are aware, Beaufort Governing Body & the Trustees of OUR Co-operative Trust, along with the school’s leaders, have been carefully considering the school’s future and evaluating its options. On 05 February 2019, the Trustees of OUR, along with the governing body, agreed unanimously that they believe that the best way forward for Beaufort is for the school to become part of the Greenshaw Learning Trust.
